I wrote this short article about my experience, but tbh, I think the best way to do it is to do the A Cloud Guru (now Pluralsight) trainings — a couple friends have told me they found these very helpful. Source: 11 months ago

Get a acloudguru.com account and work your way through Azure and AWS certifications. That will position you well for a SRE role, if you want to get back into a supporting role. Those certs can also position you well for an architect role if you're looking to shift into that side of the business. Source: 12 months ago
So I'm a bit of a newbie with this question so bear with me. I have been looking at many different resources for studying for the Azure exam and I think I am overwhelmed here. I here people say use acloudguru.com or even use Pearson learning to even go on YouTube and watch videos. I am trying to get certified quick since I am nervous that most good paying jobs will get filled. Maybe I'm just a little paranoid... Source: about 1 year ago
Sorry if it wasn't clear but yes I have both the AZ-900 now, and the CC for ISC2 but am halfway through the az-104 on acloudguru.com. Source: about 1 year ago
I found https://acloudguru.com to be a good service. The annual price isn't bad, and you get more than just videos. The courses involve hands-on labs in their sandbox. Source: about 1 year ago

Have you looked to see if your company already has a subscription to udemy or anything like that? Most jobs that I've worked at (I'm a software developer consultant) have a subscription or are will to pay for one. My current company uses ACloudGuru for training (https://acloudguru.com/). Also see if the company will reimburse you for the test. Source: about 1 year ago
Dont know. I barely used the Study materials. I personally use everything in this cert but Cognito on my job professionally so I didnt need to study that much. Of course some theoretical things like the specs of the different storage types of ec2 and stuff. But I did half a practice exam on acloudguru.com and there I felt confident enough since I could anwer most questions pretty quickly. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm using acloudguru.com myself right now to teach myself gcp and it's pretty good, I'm looking forward to doing some of the projects you mentioned. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm not familiar w/ Manager Tools. I just looked them up, and while their content might be good, they look about 20 years old. I'm guessing the bulk of their users are 45 yr old+, which is not the demographic of new managers nowadays. It also gives the impression that their management takes are stale. I prefer a CloudGuru style. A more modern take on the content. Source: about 1 year ago
