If you're doing hitch rack, I'd get something like 1UP, because the car is so low, which is what I have. As I add bikes on, the rack was an upward rake, so that every bike sits progressively higher. This helps the departure angle stay better than other racks that stay flat with bike additions. I have never dragged my rack, yet. I think I've dragged the receiver a couple times on forest roads. In case someone else comes across this post, I decided to order the Kryptonite NEW YORK CINCH RING CHAIN 1213 (https://www.kryptonitelock.com/content/kryt-us-2/en/products/product-information/current-key/999546.html) to lock my bikes to my 1Up Equip-D hitch rack ( Equip-D Single – 1UP USA | OFFICIAL SITE (1up-usa.com) ).
