Getting an average of 2-3 wins in Quick Draft is fairly decent for a new drafter. If you think you're learning at all, it's worth sticking with it to get better. You should be able to learn the fastest when you're starting out. In addition to draft articles and videos you mentioned, you might want to check out 17lands.com or this Limited Grades website while drafting to improve your pick orders and help find the... • Where did I go wrong?
The best thing to identify the best cards from fillers and bad cards is watcing the win rate stats in 17lands.com. Source: 11 months ago

  • Is it worth to?
Then, once you have a good grasp of basic magic gameplay, you can try draft. I personally use 17lands.com, they have the winrates of the cards in draft, so you know what's good. There are probably also a bunch of people somewhere on youtube that show their draft process, but I myself only watch covertgoblue, who just plays standard/historic brawl. Source: about 1 year ago
  • First time drafting as a new player...
The deck is a uw deck based on flyers, that is a solid plan that works most of the time, but there aren't standout cards. Obviously you could be unluck to not open bombs, but I expect more top commons from a deck, you can google for guides that list them, or you could go to 17lands.com that rates each cards based on performance (GIH WR%). • I'm a mediocre limited player, but managed to get a 7 win streak largely due to toxic. is it just me or the mechanic feels very unbalanced, especially in limited?
I'd recommend checking out 17lands.com. There's a very nice free draft tracker. You can link people to your draft, your deck, and even a turn by turn replay of your games. It's really helpful for improving, and if you post a draft on reddit, you'll usually get some decent feedback. No worries if you want to just chill, but it's seriously helped me improve. • How could this deck have been better?
Register on 17lands.com and download their tracker. This way you can view your drafts and games after you're done, and share them so that others can give you suggestions. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Want to get better at drafting. Need some tips.
    1) In the past yes, now there is so much special stuff that sets often have cards not part of regular boosters. Just check the set on scryfall (is:booster) or read one of the many draft primers or check 17lands.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Please help! I messed up big time with this draft
Yep, I didn't realize you're on Android only. An alternative is to perhaps pull up 17lands.com on a separate tablet. Source: over 1 year ago
  • My first draft, how did I do? Any tips going forward . Only been playing a month or so. Any tips are appreciated.
When picking cards during draft, I find it very useful to consult card ratings at limitedgrades.com, which is a very nice visual presentation of 17lands.com data. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Acquiring Rares
If you're on PC, you can install a 3rd party program such as Untapped.gg to help you draft. Otherwise, just use 17lands.com and look at Average Taken At (ATA) or Games Drawn Win Rate (GD WR). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Off to a good start in draft (noob to arena)

  • How do I get better at drafting?
One option is to look at 17lands.com and always pick the highest winrate card in your colors. Its definitely the best card evaluation since its based on tons of real data. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I know a lot of folks love the draft format, but I can’t seem to get into it. If you like draft: what appeals to you about it? And any advice as to how to start enjoying it?
And to get that high winrate, all you really need to do is use 17lands.com the right way: Sort by winrate when maindecked (GP WR), then check what has the highest winrate in your pack is and pick that (obviously decide on what two colours you want to play somewhere between the end of pack 1 and start of pack 2). • Explorer Or Historic?
We have partial stats from some tracking websites like 17lands.com to show that Alchemy has a much lower player pool than other formats. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Planing to rare draft Dominaria United with my collected gold - lookinf for advice
Use 17lands.com data (on 17lands.com or https://www.limitedgrades.com/ ) and listen to Limited Ressources, Lords of Limited and Limited Level-Ups. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • First time ever getting more than 1 win!!!! Any tips, as I am new to draft
Some of your opponents have over 20 years of experience, so it's perfectly normal that it takes a decent amount of drafts to see results. Besides that, watching great limited players can be helpful to speed up the process and 17lands.com is a great source for stats and tracking your drafts for reviewing. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Thursday Arena Chat Thread
Sign up for 17lands.com and get that going and you'll have a lot more insight. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • What did I do wrong in this draft deck?
Not exactly. There are multiple websites like the one you linked that use the data from 17lands and try to display it in a more user-friendly manner. But they're not the same as 17lands.com, which is still the source website for all that data. Source: almost 2 years ago
