I love CSP but with the way they've been going, I don't feel like it's proper to recommend them :C - I have used Krita and Medibang for my job and genuinely, nobody can tell the difference.   If you have a computer that can run a graphics program, you could do digital art and comissions. There are a number of free programs out there - Photopea is free but online only, Medibang works on Windows/Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android and appears to be free across all platforms.   Unless you want the MS paint aesthetics, there are other free drawing program options like Krita and Medibang (I use this one) that are great to draw comics with. If you want to torture yourself with searching for tutorials and guides, GIMP is allegedly the most powerful free art software out there but with the steepest learning curve that will beat your skull in with a full toolbox of steel ratchets.   Drawing. You probably have access to some drawing implements and paper. There's also a lot of really great software that you can get for free - Blender, if your computer can run it, is an open-source 3D program, and there's also always Medibang Paint or Krita for 2D. Source: over 2 years ago

  Yeah they are. I use hero forge a hell of a lot. I made the figures in grey, and then just took em into a free art program and outlined them. (If you want to know specifics, I used MediBang paint, with the figure tool, curve variant, and sharp pen. 5 thickness for main features like outlines and collars object, 2.5 for smaller features like creases in clothes and hair.).
