Sandeep Singh encountered challenges in the sales processes at his previous startup, InfiSecure (a B2B bot mitigation platform), which Barracuda Networks acquired in 2019. One of the primary roadblocks and learnings was sales engagement.

Most companies need help to meet the ever-increasing demand for high-volume prospecting. Since everything is manual, sales reps depend on multiple data sources (CRM, social media, and manual notes, among others). It’s time-consuming and erroneous. Upscale is working towards reversing this trend by automating and personalizing prospecting with structured sequences and actionable insights.
Following a successful exit, Sandeep started his startup's second innings with Amit Mastud with Upscale in August 2020. By December 2020, Upscale raised $700,000 in its pre-seed funding from GSF Accelerator, Java Capital, 100x Entrepreneur, and other angel investors. However, I found that the learning curve can be steep, especially for team members not familiar with this type of software. However, I appreciate Trello's flexibility with its Power-Ups, allowing integration with a wide array of apps which enhances its functionality. In conclusion, while Asana is a powerful tool with extensive features, I prefer Trello for its ease of use, simplicity, and intuitive design. However, I do see the value of Asana for larger teams or more complex projects.
