Google has been an integral part of my digital life for many years. Its search engine is unparalleled in its ability to fine relevant information quickly and accurately. The user-friendly interface and wide range of services make it a go- to for everything from email to navigation.
Google is the most reliable source for me to find the correct information. Its user-friendly interface and speedy results make searching much easier. From answers to random questions and finding locations, Google has never let me down. Its the first app I turn to when I need information. Highly recommended

If you are curious to find more interesting stuff, start here: – https://mojeek.com/ search engine with own index, totally different results - https://wiby.me/ another search engine, but "old school" kind of web sites. It does not mean that site cannot be new, but it just looks and feels like old school web pages. Funny way is use that "surprise me..." link there to find something -... Source: 5 months ago
Search engines. Search engines have a massive hand when it comes to centralising. Both Google and Bing prioritise centralised services no matter how irrelevant their pages are. Just try an independent engine like https://mojeek.com and see for yourself how vastly different the surfing experience is. It's like you're back to the time when the internet was accessible and not centralised to a few Big Tech apps and... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
DuckDuckGo is really good when it comes to privacy, but just as bad as google with showing information. Even though it doesn't tell you most of the top results on DuckDuckGo are ads, they paid to be the top results. It also tends to filter out non politically correct information. If you’re still reading, I’ll assume you want to know more. We will get a little more technical (Not too much, hopefully). When you type google.com into your browser, your browser needs to know Google’s address. Address?, yes websites live at specific addresses. You can think of the internet as a network of roads for that link computers together. If you wanted to go to the mall, you would get on the road and... - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
