We play 50/50 in person or online using Discord for voice and video screen share, always use DM Helper for maps, combat and other fun: https://dm-helper.itch.io/dm-helper. Source: over 2 years ago
I purchased the DiA DM bundle on DMSguild (https://www.dmsguild.com/product/295015) which includes great advice on how to run the campaign as well as maps to use. I also use a free app called DM Helper (https://dm-helper.itch.io/dm-helper) to display maps, organize the campaign, and track HP & initiative during combat. Source: over 2 years ago
What I am also not sure about is https://dm-helper.itch.io/dm-helper ... Not because it isn't useful, it's because I am not sure about how to get stuff in there. You will be locked to the basics, but you can get an idea from character building there because you can create characters and see how stats impact rolls and explore class features.
