I purchased the DiA DM bundle on DMSguild (https://www.dmsguild.com/product/295015) which includes great advice on how to run the campaign as well as maps to use. I also use a free app called DM Helper (https://dm-helper.itch.io/dm-helper) to display maps, organize the campaign, and track HP & initiative during combat. Source: over 2 years ago
What I am also not sure about is https://dm-helper.itch.io/dm-helper ... Not because it isn't useful, it's because I am not sure about how to get stuff in there. Well of course there is the aforementioned session zero will be the first order on the docket. Our starting point will be the Pathfinder 2E's Beginner Box. I find the Beginner Box to be a genuinely good way to introduce players to both PF2E and FoundryVTT so im gonna use it as a sorta jumping off point for the homebrew. (it also gives me time to work on the homebrew content since it will be customized to your... Source: 10 months ago
For the character sheet, I took screenshots of the sheet from our current campaign and just slapped them all into one big image. We're playing in the Foundry Virtual Tabletop software with the Tidy5e and Inventory+ modules. I think those are the main ones affecting the appearance and layout of the character sheet. FoundryVTT definitely takes some setup out of the gate, but the modules allow for so much freedom and... Source: 10 months ago
