  I use Cozy Drive. It's open source. You can pick a folder in your pc, and it syncs it to the cloud. You can still open in offline. They have 5gb free version, which I use, because I need it only for documents and photos. Android app is good too, and you can automatically sync your photos. Source: over 2 years ago

  However, it really depends on one needs and usage. For example, tags might be a more flexible way to organize the passwords than folders, I agree with that. Searching in Bitwarden is reasonably good, which makes folders or tags a lot less relevant. The limited number of item types is not limited for my use, as I rarely use Bitwarden for anything else than managing passwords. Autofill never bothered me, personally.... Source: over 2 years ago

  If you want more of a web-based file sharing solution, you can try out more professionally made open source file sharing services like Syncthing, YouTransfer, or Cozy.   Do we still enjoy it? We are running many Vaadin apps in production since that first one. If there are not any specific requirements we use a “modular monolith” concept, which fits our stack best. We pack applications as WAR and deploy them under Apache Tomcat. And yes, we enjoy the development process.   Don't use an installed copy of Tomcat. The layout can be different than expected and permission problems can appear at the worst time. For one, it needs to be able to write to that conf directory.
