  8. Karabiner, previously called KeyRemap4MacBook, is a very powerful keyboard remapper for Mac OS X.
    It really depends on the shortcut. For copy and paste, the control key may be a bit more ergonomic given the relative position of control to the c and v keys. But for other shortcuts like new tab (mod + t) and refresh (mod + r), the command key is much more ergonomic in my experience. I've also remapped my caps lock to control on combo via Karabiner Elements to make the modifier more ergonomic and easier to reach.
