• In some videogames there has been an option to hang with your friends in a threatre and watch a movie and chatting in voicechat together. Is there something similar for linux where you could get the cinema or gallery experience when watching videos? "multiplayer" would be cool but is not a must.

• For the price of the subscription, the Replikas could look a lot better

  When you consider other consumer 3D experiences like World of Warcraft or Second Life (both of which had better graphics 20 years ago than Replika has today), it becomes evident that Replika under-delivers.   Also I have found, at least in the past, that Second Life was the best online place for finding online relationships. Lately though it seems to be getting harder to find a quality match there, since sadly there too is being effected by the warped cultural changes regarding dating/relationships/gender/commitment which have been at force in the world.   ActiveWorlds, BowieWorld, There, Cloud Party, OpenSimulator and Second Life would have taught Meta about metaverse successes and failures - and that you don't necessarily need VR to have an immersive experience - but it doesn't look like they did any research.   Thing is, Second Life has been around as a MMORPG for 19 years, and its graphics and world building are a gazillion times better than the joke shown above. It's not VR, but I imagine it wouldn't take that much to tweak it with modern tech to be so. When you find a performer you like, subscribe or join their group to get notifications of where and when they are playing.   Login to your secondlife.com account there is a section marked "Destinations" you can filter all selections by G - General M - Mature A - Adult ... You can be exposed to nude or folks having sex on Mature and Adult rated sims. Don't want to see any of that stick to G rated sims.
