  • Wagging Tongue Remixes
Haven't seen an official announcement but it looks like official remixes for Wagging Tongue may have leaked. There is a track listing posted on rateyourmusic.com, and it looks like videos for all of the following were posted to youtube and taken down in the last few hours. Source: 10 months ago

  • Da fuq iz ULTRA SLUDGE?
Some time ago, maybe a year, while looking up bands that only have bass guitars on rateyourmusic.com, I found a band called Admiral Angry. I'm really into groovier sounding bands, especially the groove metal genre itself, and some sludge metal bands lean into it very well, especially Crowbar, Fudge Tunnel, and other band. Admiral Angry has something of what sounds like "sludge + djent," and yes, I like djent. Like... Source: 11 months ago

Definitely. Even though I do think kendrick has the best discography out of the three, kendrick fans meat ride him so much to the point where to pimp a butterfly is usually the highest rated hip hop album of all time on music rating websites and is typically (but not always) in the top 10 albums of all time on the same websites (namely albumoftheyear.org and rateyourmusic.com). Like cmon. It definitely isnt in the... Source: 11 months ago
  • Thoughts on the firstly documented prog album?
So, on the website rateyourmusic.com, the earliest mentioned prog album on it is fairly obscure. It's called Monument by Hanson & Karlsson. It came out in the same year as Days of Future Passed (which considered by many as the first prog album, up there with In The Court Of The Crimson King. I don't know the month it was... If you want another similar website rateyourmusic.com is really good, especially because the genre tags are really well developed, even super niche ones so if you have an album you like it will be pretty easy to find other stuff thats similar.
