I was just going to add that you can check out pluginboutique.com for some free stuff and some of it - not all of it - is pretty awesome. A favorite of mine is Ample Guitar lite and Ample Bass lite. Source: 12 months ago
Massive synth - can get you some really heavy basslines as well. Its on sale at pluginboutique.com by itself or as part of the NI Komplete Select package https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/10156-KOMPLETE-14-Select?nosto=frontpage-nosto-1. I've been pretty happy with pluginboutique.com. They usually have a good freebie every month that comes with whatever you buy from them. Last time, I got the Cherry Audio CA2600 synth for free when I bought a cheap $10 plugin. Source: about 1 year ago
There's also hundreds of decent free legal plug-ins to download like at pluginboutique.com or there's plenty of youtube channels that review free plug-ins. It's a real deep rabbit hole. Learn the plug-ins that come with Reaper first. Don't blame the plug-ins if you don't sound good. There's also hundreds of youtube channels out there to help you learn how to mix, beware that some of these are adverts. Source: over 1 year ago
KVRAudio is a good place to look for new plugins both commercial and free. If you're looking for higher end plugins, Plugin Boutique is also good. They also have pay to own plans for certain items so you don't have to pay full-price right away. Source: over 1 year ago
Their plugins all have a 30 day fully usable trial. Just go to their site and watch their walkthroughs which are usually in the middle of each product page and then download the plugin to try it out. Ujam.com Also they have them currently on sale on pluginboutique.com https://www.pluginboutique.com/deals/show?sale_id=12018. Source: over 1 year ago
Check out pluginboutique.com they are always running some sort of sale and give away monthly freebies, plus a ton of free stuff that's always available. You can get a bunch of plugins for $75.. Nice thing is they keep track of what has been updated, so you don't have to check every software vendors website all the time.. I've spent around $250 with them and have about 50 plugins ranging from weird unknown FX that... Source: over 1 year ago
The sale is also available at http://pluginboutique.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
To add to this - if you're broke but still need some new VSTs - https://pluginboutique.com/ has a 'free' section - which has some good stuff in it. Source: about 2 years ago

If you are into music production or anything like that, pluginboutique.com is having a big sale until the 24th on a bunch of Izotope stuff. Source: about 2 years ago
If you have signed up to pluginboutique.com you will find My Updates link in the My Account section. The site is fine and from my experience the support is great. Source: about 2 years ago
Wow, so many plugins out there now... :) If you want more traditional, conventional sounds on a budget then maybe look out for Air Xpand!2. It's often on sale at places like pluginboutique.com for around $5, has hundreds of 'real' sounds (pianos, guitars, orchestral sounds...) as well as more synthey ones. Lots of drums too. Needs ilok installed to authorise it but I've never had an issue with it. Source: over 2 years ago
Do you have a midi keyboard? Most daws have some sort of scale effect where you can select a certain scale and the plugin will automaticly correct the notes played which are off key. On the long run you should definetly learn music theory but until youre there, there are plenty of plugins to help. Check out pluginboutique.com they often have a discount on Scaler 2, this plugin helps me a lot with writing chord... Source: over 2 years ago
Pluginboutique.com is awesome. Loads of cheap or free plug ins that are great. Source: over 2 years ago
Since many audio production Discord servers started popping out of nowhere, I decided to build a bot that aims to notify any server of the discounts available on popular pluginboutique.com plugins. The plan is to make it support more and more sites as time goes by! It's a simple and easy to understand bot that should work on every server. If you are interested, feel free to try inviting him to your server! His... Source: about 3 years ago
Plugins4free.com or pluginboutique.com are great places to start looking. I don't really make metal but I use a free distortion plugin called Temper that is pretty good and easy to use. Source: about 3 years ago
They have higher quality, better sounding presets than most vsts on the market. I say buy Xpand!2 (which is less than $10 on pluginboutique.com if I'm not mistaken) to start out with while you earn the basics of beatmaking, such as drums, arrangement, what instruments and sounds go well together, melodies, etc... No sense in buying the most expensive sounds when you dont really know what you're doing yet. There's... Source: about 3 years ago
