Nuclear is a music player that will use various sources around the internet such as YouTube and Bandcamp to search for and stream music completely ad free. The client itself keeps track of your artists, playlists, and likes. It doesn't require an account or any personal information to use and at times feels too good to be true. I am the dev of music-kraken https://pypi.org/project/music-kraken/. Its a music downloader downloading music from various sources. It is not quite there yet but it works pretty reliably yet. Once it got so far, that I got a stable enough programming interface, I suggest a collaboration, so you can embed my downloader as the core into monoboxes backend to make something like nuclear https://nuclear.js.org/ which... Bruh u don't use electron apps that doesn't mean others don't use it. Ever heard of nuclear.js.org ? It is a free and open source alternative to spotify which is a electron app. I really love it thats why I use xorg. You may be interested in the Nuclear Music Player which is unfortunately only available for desktop, but you can download the music locally to your computer and with a program like Syncthing have the library synced to your other devices, including mobile (not a perfect solution, but if you want to move away from privacy-invasive streaming services this is as good as it gets in my opinion besides hosting your own...
