Floorfy 3D tours are nowhere near how smooth Matterport ones are. The price is something to consider, but it is totally worth it.
I have a friend in real estate who uses matterport [1] to do something similar to this. They have tools to do animations very close to what is happening here. Even the circular cursor looks similar. 1. https://matterport.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago

The real threat/opportunity is things like https://matterport.com/ where you create a 3D model of the property automagically - good enough to take dimensions from. Source: about 1 year ago
I have an Insta 360 that takes amazing 360 photos and would like to do a "virtual tour" (similar to matterport.com) on an Oculus Quest 2 where I can interlink a number of 360 photos and allow someone a basic virtual experience. Source: about 1 year ago
There are companies today like Matterport: https://matterport.com/ which leverage LiDAR to do high detail measurements and mapping for various applications. My company uses them to measure prior to use creating build plans for remodels and I used them at my previous company to do high detail measurements in the context of real estate. Depends what software you're using. The best open source one I've found is Meshroom which is quite easy to use but it's very much old-generation photogrammetry. Nothing like Matterport for example. Source: about 2 years ago
It was done with a matterport camera. Itโs essentially a camera that you move around from room to room. It spins around, takes a 3D picture of the room, and once your done it connects them all together to make a complete 3D model. Source: over 2 years ago

Looking for a solution to scan a 110m2 flat. Result should be something like matterport.com or preferably something I can use in VR with Oculus Quest 2, while not paying much. Source: almost 3 years ago

Meshroom definitely can't do 3D reconstruction from monocular video. But there are other algorithms that can. Just Google "3D reconstruction monocular" and you get loads of demos. E.g. https://youtu.be/TZ1eToXQwN0 Unfortunately I don't know of any that are open source and not research-project style code (i.e. Weeks of work to maybe get working). Matterport are the market leaders in this sort of thing but it's... - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
