Once you get a capture card, you need a broadcasting software of some kind. Most people Use OBS studio, which you can find here. There will likely be speedrunning tutorials out eventually, but because the game is so new, you’re kind of on your own for now in that regard. Also, if you haven’t speedrun any game before, you’re gonna want livesplit, which you can download here. Source: 12 months ago
And as for a timer, I would recommend livesplit. It works for all games, and is pretty customisable: Https://livesplit.org. Source: over 1 year ago
Https://livesplit.org/ use this and record your time the day before an ia is due. Or start it in 9th grade if you dont like stress. Source: over 1 year ago
If you want a more convenient timer, I recommend you try out LiveSplit. Source: over 1 year ago
The people behind livesplit are very open to talking about their code I'm sure. Talk to them here https://livesplit.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
Players should do the run on stream via Twitch or YouTube in one-run with the stopwatch (https://livesplit.org/) - Example of the run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRky-S-mefY. Source: over 1 year ago
I like to use LiveSplit for timing: https://livesplit.org/. That way I can do several practice clears without leaving practice tool. I also track my times on an Excel sheet since seeing my improvement over time is motivating. Source: over 1 year ago
It's called LiveSplit, and it's free to download. Source: over 1 year ago

This is a manual-submission site for full-game runs that include multiple maps. Things like doing the entire Adventure, Lost to Echoes, or any of the full Sprint level sets, among other categories. Video is required for submission, and the video has to show the main menu (with the game's version number). Even slow runs or first plays are entirely fine to be submitted, as long as they have either the in-game... Source: almost 2 years ago
If you download LiveSplit from the official site https://livesplit.org/ and get a zip folder (that you have to extract) there's absolutely no risk. You could also try https://one.livesplit.org/ (LiveSplit One) that doesn't even install anything on your computer, just runs entirely in a browser. Source: almost 2 years ago
Livesplit. It's a tool used by Speedrunners. Source: about 2 years ago
I'm riding my local bikepark and want to implement something like https://livesplit.org/ in my videos. Mostly for myself. Since it's always the same tracks I'd like to see my splits for each section, just like speedrunners do. Source: about 2 years ago
I want to start speedrunning but I want to make sure the program is safe because the site says not secure and I scanned the main file on virus total and it said 2 malicious files. Is it safe? The website is https://livesplit.org/. Source: over 2 years ago
I try to keep track of my time using Livesplit as an external timer. It's not perfect, and I would rather see an in-game timer as an option on non-race generated seeds. Source: over 2 years ago
Timer Livesplit is a popular choice, and for act 1 you don't need any complex splits set up as there's not much value in micro-timing the coast, etc. Source: over 2 years ago
I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but perhaps a software like livesplit is what you are looking for? It's made more for speedrunning, but it's pretty configurable and may be able to do what you need. Source: over 2 years ago
Just you, a partner, access to the internet to play geoguessr, and a 3rd-party timer (like livesplit) that can mark down your times as you finish each round. The timer is MANDATORY. You may not use in-game times. https://livesplit.org/. Source: almost 3 years ago
LiveSplit is a timer program for speedrunners that is both easy to use and full of features. Source: almost 3 years ago
Step 3: Get the shit. JOIN THE DISCORD! I would also check out the SRC Page and make an account. Livesplit, OBS, and NohBoard are your essential programs. You should be able to find guides for these on youtube or whatever, but I will point out this one. Make sure to download menu mod (should be a button in livesplit). Also, if you ever need help (with the programs or anything speedrunning related) feel free to... Source: about 3 years ago
