Habitica is one of the coolest web apps (they also have iOS and Android apps) Iโve seen in a while - it helps you organize your life, tasks, and habits through the RPG game! Imagine a Kanban board like Trello, but for each task you complete, you earn XP and gold, and you can even team up with friends to take up quests. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago

> From these experiences, Iโve realized that avoiding bad habits is just as important as cultivating good habits. Avoidance rarely works I think. I'd say replacing negative habits with positive ones is a better long term strategy. Can recommend the App Habitica for this, free and open source. There are Android and iOS clients for it. Makes habits dailies and todos more fun. Not affiliated, only fixed an... - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
For everyone who does not know Habitica: it's a gamified task list where you can get coins for tasks and buy virtual pets (or your own custom rewards) for them. It's available on pretty much every platform. Guilds are groups for like-minded people, a little like subreddits. They're useful for holding each other accountable or just chatting about features and stuff. If you're new to Habitica and want to join, feel... Source: 11 months ago
Something like Ring Fit Adventure is probably out since you don't have much money to throw around, but you could try a "life RPG" type app like Habatica, rewarding yourself for keeping up on the habits you want to encourage. And it's free! Not sure if maybe there are general workout apps that make it feel like a game. Source: 12 months ago

Sounds similar to Habitica (habitica.com). The only difference is you can create as many habits as you want regardless of your level. You need to sign up to make an account though. They do have a free version as well as a paid version. I've been using the free version for years now! Source: about 1 year ago
Shot in the dark but I find: https://habitica.com/ an interesting concept.. I tried it and it's not something I still use but the "Gamification" in a task list is a cool concept. Source: about 1 year ago
In general, it probably makes sense to try different strategies - listening, reading, courses or working with a tutor if at all feasible, writing streaks, language exchanges, apps, etc. - to see if any of them work better. If you struggle without external structure there's also the possibility to do some "add-on" gamification - I use Habitica on and off to add streaks/rewards/reminders to things like revising my... Writing out a full to-do list always stressed me out, but I downloaded an app (Habitica) that let me write out the list once, and then it will regenerate the list every day for me, which has been surprisingly helpful. It can even be set to put certain items on the list only on certain days (like I have mine set to only put "Do Laundry" on the list on Fridays). I don't always get everything done on the list, but...
