Recent versions of the GIMP come packaged with the plugins needed to import and export the DDS format used for Skyrim's textures, with the exception of the BC7 compression scheme. For many uses, this is enough, though if you're designing a texture from scratch to wrap around a mesh, you'll probably need whatever tools are included in a piece of full 3D modelling software, like Blender. - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
Photoshop → Gimp (maybe not as good as photoshop, but it receives contributions from a research lab, GREYC via GMIC), Krita. - Source: Reddit / 28 days ago
Woe is me. I found this blurb on gimp.org. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
Gimp.org (gimp = graphic image manipulating program, if I recall correctly. unfortunate acronym) offers a VERY high powered and free program. It isn't always the most user friendly, but it will do everything you want and will absolutely support transparent pixels. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
If so, you're html is probably fine and it's a problem with your PNG file. Just use a decent image editor (like Gimp) and make sure the empty space is deleted/transparent or whatever your desired color, then try it again. There are tutorials for this all over. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
You should get him Gimp. In their website they also link to tutorials for begginers. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
Of course, that is no problem ... They are usually saved under Documents\Black Desert\FaceTexture .. You can use a free tool like gimp.org to change the bmp files of your characters. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
I do something similar in GIMP. I'll share OBS with a portion of GIMP on the screen with a sidebar cutout of texteditor for initiative. The majority is the map or pics of npcs/landmarks/etc but in GIMP I'll only reveal what I need to. As long as I zoom to the current area then I don't need to worry about fog of war too much. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Are you sure you downloaded GIMP from the official website gimp.org? - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
