YoDeck is awesome for what it is intended for... DIGITAL SIGNAGE! Dropbox is also good for it's intended purpose... CLOUD STORAGE!
Comparing these two against each other is like comparing an apple to a ballcap... they are completely unrelated. Therefore this comparison is the dumbest of all time!
I enjoy using this platform. It has really made my work as a translator easier. I like that you can see the history of the translations and also the QA check feature is really useful.
Easy to use UI, a lot of useful features and a reliable support team!
It made my life much easier and helped me get my project done in no time. The features are really straightforward to use and their support team are always ready to give a hand in case you get stuck. I highly recommend it to everyone who needs professional help to manage a localization project effectively!
Based on our record, POEditor should be more popular than Yodeck. It has been mentiond 7 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Yodeck works offline for up to 30-45 days. It is free for a single screen and the 4GB Player costs $99/unit (unless you have some other player hardware you would like to use, so no need to buy that). As soon as you get it online, it should update the content. Just make sure that you have a big enough data plan. Source: about 1 year ago
We use Yodeck for that. Of course getting a Raspberry Pi right now is the issue. Source: about 1 year ago
Yodeck connects to PowerBI directly from each Player, not from the backend. We do have many customers displaying PowerBI dashboard, and we are now building an even better integration. You could try it out - order a Player for $79, try it out, and if it does not work as you need it, you can always return it and get a refund. Source: over 2 years ago
You might want to check out Yodeck. It’s a hosted solution and you get one free player. They have an image to install on your pi. Source: over 2 years ago
For the purpose of this blog and demo I decided to use POEditor to host my translations. They have a generous free tier which is more than enough for this demo. I created a project, added 2 languages (NL and EN) and added a few translations to it. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
For this, I tried to use Angular's build in functionality (@angular/localize) with POEditor. Source: almost 2 years ago
Check out POEditor, might be what you are looking for. Source: about 2 years ago
There's a bunch of others you can find if you google something like "crowdsource app translation" (ex1 ex2 ex3). I hope this helps, and I'll go add these to our wiki, since I also had to hunt them down across the subreddit. Source: over 2 years ago
It would be great if the translation is on a service like https://poeditor.com/, so it can be easier to maintain and recruit other faculty members that aren't so savvy. Source: over 2 years ago
