  Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing an issue I've been having with the Wikiwand extension? I haven't been able to get the link previews working the way they used to, and it's super frustrating and annoying when it works with the regular wikipedia.org page just fine. • Possibly moving to Portland from Phoenix, AZ. Transplants (from anywhere), what considerations do you wish you would have thought of (or did) now that you live in Portland?

  Forgive me if this is a exhausting question, but I did search both this and r/Portland and didn't find many answers. Anyway, for the past few years I've been juggling moving to Portland (or Denver) against how comfortable I am now. I love (LOVE) the weather here (barring anytime it's 110 or higher), but to my surprise Portland is reasonably temperate. (At least from what I see on weather.com and wikipedia.org) A...   Larry Sanger was more or less evicted from Wikipedia because his viewpoints and personality conflicted with virtually everyone else, which was, as it still is, made of a broad group of people across the globe. He was with Wikipedia for a year and has criticized the project since he left after his salary was cut. His follow up project, Citizendium is dead. Source: over 2 years ago

  Sanger hasn't built anything that amounted to anything. He's been involved with a bunch of failed projects like Citizendium, most of which were based on the premise that Wikipedia is broken because 1) it allows anyone to contribute and 2) it's not conservative enough.
