The one thing that I've heard and read and been told a bunch of times is not to compare yourself now to who you were before your injury, and while there is merit to that, it's obviously really hard not to do sometimes. Am I missing something? I can’t find mention of “philosopher” on samharris.org or wakingup.com. I see a mention of neuroscientist, but I think a PhD degree should allow you to call yourself that. As for credibility in both areas, check citations to his works - books (philosophy) as well as scientific papers (neuroscience). Source: about 1 year ago
