    Route 3 makes the most sense. Keep mind some of the landmarks you listed for each city are far apart (ex, The Getty and the Getty Villa, Hearst Castle to PG).     I use this to plan my drive https://trips.furkot.com/ you can enter what time you want to start and end you day. I stop about every 4 hours to stretch. I prefer to stop at the large truck stops along the way for bathroom breaks. I have snacks for the road such as trail mix, grapes and apples.
