So, something very strange happened to me for the first time. I was denied boarding on a Lufthansa flight. The staff at the airport kept changing their excuse, and every time they came up with something, I had to prove it was wrong. Skyscanner at times lead to websites such as trip.com which provides a ticket confirmation after 48 hours. I read somewhere that these thrid-party websites do bulk booking with airlines in order to gain bigger commissions. I book onced with trip.com and got the ticket within 48 hours. Source: 5 months ago
