I used https://trainasone.com/ for a bit when I used to run more. Seems like a perfect use for AI. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
I'm currently using trainasone.com to generate my running plan. You can set a race goal or just set a general goal. Since it's adaptive, if you do something else or miss a day it will re-generate what it thinks is the optimal next workout for you. Source: 11 months ago
Hey guys, I got fed up with manually re-creating my workouts from trainasone.com in polar flow each day, so I hacked together a basic automation script at https://github.com/fneu/TrainOnPolar. Source: about 1 year ago
I had been using trainasone.com precisely for that purpose, I guess it’s completely redundant now as Garmin also knows when I haven’t slept well or I’m dead tired and adjusts accordingly. Source: about 1 year ago
I have downloaded a workout training file, .tcx file format, from trainasone.com. This is a workout to be completed today, NOT a previous, historical workout. Source: over 1 year ago
I have tried crash diets in the past and have never felt this good or this energetic. I'm going to keep going like this until I'm at my goal weight. I gained 60 lbs from taking this antipsych med called zyprexa (it's known for extreme weight gain fast but I was like I'd rather be mentally ok than fit and thin right now so I'm basically trying to reverse it. Follow that guide and that timing, and you'll be able to start putting some data around your diet. Start with your regular, normal food. My favorite tool for this is now-better LoseIt! Over MyFitnessPal which has been on the decline for years. Source: about 1 year ago

You can use an app like Lose It! To track your food intake and see how many calories you're eating. People are notoriously bad at underestimating the calories that they consume so I really recommend you do some calorie tracking.... Source: about 1 year ago
At 1200 kCal/day you'll certainly lose weight, but it probably won't be safe... I use LoseIt. I've used it since I started on phentermine back in 2007, so it has a lot of historical data for me. It has a good barcode scanner and remembers your most frequently added items so once you put in a meal, you can just click into that section when adding foods and it will have the full list of ingredients from meals there.
