Even if running from zombies can’t shake your determination to be a proud Stravaddict, mainly for the social and competitive aspect of it, you can still sync most of the other popular apps with it through an open-source project Tapiriik. This clever tool not only uploads your km’s, average speed, and output but also synchronizes your heart rate, cadence, power, and...

  • Has anyone here migrated their data off of Adidas/Runtastic?
There are a few services for copying, not sure which support Runtastic. Try Tapiriik https://tapiriik.com/ Or SyncMyTracks. https://www.syncmytracks.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to transfer all Garmin activities to Strava?
I use https://tapiriik.com to keep a few different sports apps I use in sync. It works great for a 1 time transfers as well as a continuous sync (with donation). I highly recommend the tool, and to support them if you think it is useful. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Why doesn’t strava buy up the “strava sauce” plug-in for the web browser and incorporate everything in as a part of their paid subscription? Very interesting from the data analytics side. Seems like a super easy way for them to add value for paying customers. Link for reference…
Fair question. You can download data from strava or use a service like https://tapiriik.com to sync work outs between platforms. I used with success about 6 years ago to move all my data from runkeeper to strava. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Syncing Wahoo to Garmin Connect (ELEMNT BOLT/ROAM)
While this isn't specific to activities initially created by a Wahoo device; I've had success with both https://www.fitnesssyncer.com/ and https://tapiriik.com in synchronising data between services. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Join the "Running from the Texas AG Challenge" and help raise money to fight human trafficking!
They do have indoor rowing on strava. I use my garmin for it. You can also use the strava app to record "workout" since it's not listed as a specific activity. https://tapiriik.com/ is also a great way to sync activities across platforms. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Indoor Trainer
I think if you scour the internet, the best source of workout would be trainerroad. But it's pricey. I use xertonline.com, paired with a elite suito and power meter by Zwatt. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I did a FTP test for my birthday! I completed the Build Me Up program and increased from 163 to 211, whilst losing 10kg over the 12 weeks :)
Another great tool is xertonline.com it analysis your workouts and is able to update your ftp after each ride. I took 3 month pause from training and now my ftp grows 1-3 watts after each workout. But it is very complex and overwhelming if you just started out. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Ramp tests and “unproductive” training: a cautionary tale
After someone referred me to the excellent but complex Xert and spending more time learning about their (much more sophisticated and transparent) fitness analysis and following their workouts, I’ve concluded that Garmin was actually correct. Source: about 3 years ago
