  • Recommended Stock Analysis Programs/Sites?
After releasing earnings, companies sometimes take a few days or even weeks to submit their report to the SEC. Which is why there is a delay on many sites. For US stocks, stockanalysis.com has a good screener and up to date finances. Source: 6 months ago
  • Income ETF Dividend Yield Calculation - Who Is Right?
Https://stockanalysis.com uses this method to calculate dividend yield... Add up all the dividends paid in the last 12 months, then divide that number by the stock price to get the yield whereas Nasdaq, CNBC and TDAmeritrade annualize the yield which could show a much higher yield but according to stockanalysis... Because the payments are usually irregular, it would be inaccurate. What say you? Don't give a F,... Source: 9 months ago

  • Nasdaq Data Link Subscription Issues
    - Is there a price list other than nasdaqtrader.com or nasdaq.com. I do not found any price list for any of the data.nasdaq.com offerings. If nasdaq.com is correct I would have to pay somewhat 500$ a month, which is nothing compared to the time I spent to get price quotes from Nasdaq partners and the fun I head writing about my quest to get this data and talking about it... . • Is Nasdaq a stock exchange or Ads company?
You probably went to nasdaq.com which is NASDAQ's site for retail and web-search landing. They have information there and monetize it with advertising like many other sites do. As others have noted, they are a broad business and it is a revenue stream. You can go to https://nasdaqtrader.com if you want to read the exchange's specifications, symbol lookup, system status, etc. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed for non-professional or lone wolf?
I want to have as much data as I can have regarding Nasdaq (Stocks). As far as I know level 2 only usually gives about best 5 to 10 orders in either direction around the price. I researched Nasdaq data feed options and found that total view should give me all the trades and order information there is (Full order book depth) and according to nasdaqtrader.com TotalView comes with a subscription fee of 375 Dollar per...
