RunCloud might be a bit more popular than Dreamhost. We know about 11 links to it since March 2021 and only 8 links to Dreamhost. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
It's a server management service, they use AWS (or your host of choice) under the hood. I personally use something similar called Runcloud which I haven't had any problems with. It's a halfway house between a managed platform and your own VPS. Means you don't have to worry about security, vhosts, ssl certificates, restricting access etc... With real person support if you need it, and a tidy interface to monitor... Source: over 1 year ago

Maybe something more extensive than what you need, but RunCloud checks all of your boxes: runcloud.io. Source: almost 2 years ago
So after a good number of years on runcloud.io, (basic and Pro plans yes, I run multiple accounts) I am looking to see if there are alternatives to it, that may offer more features/same pricing or better pricing. Source: about 2 years ago
For PHP https://platform.sh has got a lot of traction, but it's notc cheap especially for small apps. If you hadn't wanted the Docker-based backing I would suggest trying one of the services that automates setting up your VMs at AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode etc like https://forge.laravel.com/, https://runcloud.io/, https://serverpilot.io/, https://www.cloudways.com/ etc. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Ordering the Domain: Once I had the ideal domain name, it was time to secure it. I quickly registered the domain dreamhost.com, ensuring that I had exclusive rights to it for my newsletter. Cost: $7.99/year. Source: about 1 year ago
You can use any domain registrar for this tutorial. All the below steps are generic and will apply to any registrar. Some options are Dreamhost, Namecheap, GoDaddy. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Unmanaged https://dreamhost.com Around $5-8/mo depending on monthly/annual. You have to know how to set it up. Source: over 1 year ago
There's different ways you can go, but in my case I have several sites and domains hosted through Dreamhost. In addition to basic web hosting, they also provide POP3/IMAP email with an optional webmail interface. Source: over 1 year ago
- For proxy servers if I need one: nginx, or sniproxy -- does this have to be running on a public server space? If so, I do have accounts on dreamhost.com. Source: over 1 year ago
