BTW, if you just want to hide menubar icons and don't use BTT, Vanilla is a pretty cool app that does this. I actually use it alongside BTT, so Vanilla hides some menubar icons permanently that I don't ever want to see and then I use BTT to only shows those that I want to see at some point.
