I have written blog platforms for myself several times over the years. (I've always compared it to the Great American Novel. Every programmer has to write at least one.) It's a fun thing to do and it sounds like Developer_Tom has a nice perspective on the matter. I gave up on that seven or eight years ago. I realized that running it was like being my own plumber. Sure, I can do it but aren't there better ways to... - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
Building your own LAMP stack on a VPS from scratch is a good learning exercise, but opens you up to various attacks. For example if you're running Wordpress, expect /wp-admin to be scanned and brute forced, and your whole site to be scraped by bots, not to mention bandwidth issues when your site gets hugged to death from Reddit/HN/Social Media. I can't figure it out why some websites (and app) are not correctly displaying things when mullvadvpn is active. The one website (and only, so far) that is giving me problems is https://500px.com/ which doesn't load pictures. Same thing with the app on Android. I'm using default settings and I've tried a bunch of servers, no fix so far. Source: 11 months ago
I'd recommend looking in 500px.com . Go to "Discover->Popular" then find the "Categories" button and select "Travel". Source: about 1 year ago
An NFT as well as it's owner are stored on the blockchain (BTC Blockchain, Etherium Blockchain, etc.) As an artist myself - if I wanted to - I could sell digital work via this technology. It's surle an intersting alternative to traditional plattforms like www.saatchiart.com, 500px.com, or etsy.com. The Blockchain is nothing more than a decentralized*, digital, currency trading plattform. It's transparent: Any... Source: over 1 year ago
