Fun morning project in response to the two recent threads [0][1] about the declining quality of Google results for product reviews. This was pulled together in the last couple of hours, so expect it to be rough. In short, I used a Google Custom Search Engine to limit results to the below sites. If temps are already high (circa 70/80 degrees) and/or thermal throttling status is yes then you have a problem. Give your laptop a really intensive CPU + GPU workload, for example Prime95 and Furmark simultaneously (www.mersenne.org, geeks3d.com), and monitor temperatures for CPU package and all its cores with HWiNFO (www.hwinfo.com).
