Adobe Color CC might be a bit more popular than Paletton. We know about 72 links to it since March 2021 and only 53 links to Paletton. My go-to color links (general color theory stuff): - https://paletton.com/ palettes with color theory and can generate the entire scheme. - https://medialab.github.io/iwanthue/ I want hue, uses k-means to separate out colors, great for graphs and getting contrast on those. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
Looks useful for gradients. Strange that nobody mentions Paletton. It's my go to tool when picking colors: https://paletton.com/ You start with the base, and then also get gradients to adjacent colors in the palette. Especially the triad and tetrad ones are useful. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago

In terms of coming up with a colour scheme I like paletton. Source: 10 months ago
Could use a pipeline to this one website that scans colors from images and states their name, could be a quick new command like a special screenshot that is sent and scanned then named. Also, the colors are a bit bright and (in my personal opinion, don't know your character) don't match well. There are plenty of sites that can give pretty decent palettes if you don't have anything specific in mind, and can filter for specific colors if you're in, say, a green mood. Adobe Color and Coolors are the ones I use most often. Source: 5 months ago
> I'd love to code up a machine learning project that showed the user many color combinations. I teach painting in an art school. The huge problem with almost all pallet choosing apps (e.g. Adobe's https://color.adobe.com/) is that they produce swatches: a small collection of discreet color values (e.g. red, green and yellow). These would present as peaks in a hue histogram. These swatches would be great for... - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
