Ok so there is a lot of math you need to do here if you really want to compare things, on top of if you are comfortable having a mortgage when in retirement. The first thing I'd recommend is going to healthcare.gov, or even healthsherpa.com to price out some plans to get an idea of where things are. You might try looking up plans on healthsherpa.com. The plans listed there are ACA plans and I think their interface is a little easier to browse than healthcare.gov was last time I looked. Source: about 1 year ago
ACA for health insurance - the price varies a lot based on your age, location, and whether you qualify for subsidies. healthcare.gov is the official signup but other sites like healthsherpa.com can give you an idea of the rate. Source: about 2 years ago
