When you 'FIRE', what do you do about health/vision/medical/etc insurance?

Healthcare.gov Health Sherpa
  1. Since the healthcare law took full effect this year, HealthCare.
The plan we have had has been wonderful. In our zip code, lots of providers and plans are available on healthcare.gov. But some have very poor networks. There were two providers tied in to the two large networks here (one each). We went with the one tied into the same network we’ve used for years and years. I have all the same doctors and specialists. If we’d chosen the cheapest plan, we might have had a poor selection of doctors and struggled to have found anyone.

  2. A Healthcare.gov certified web broker, giving people, employers, and nonprofits a simple platform for enrolling in ACA-compliant healthcare.
ACA for health insurance - the price varies a lot based on your age, location, and whether you qualify for subsidies. healthcare.gov is the official signup but other sites like healthsherpa.com can give you an idea of the rate.
