Https://muso.fm An internet radio aggregator featuring music radio stations organised by genre rather than location. There are tonnes of great music focused and specialist stations out there. TuneIn or RadioGarden don’t really make it easy to find the best stations for a given genre though. I wanted to build it as a web app that’s usable as a PWA on mobile but have had lots of issues streaming audio reliably. Also... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
Same. I created https://muso.fm to try and gather all the best music radio stations around the internet. Source: about 2 years ago
I love this app. But after a while using it I found it suffers the same problem as most other Internet radio apps - obsessed with location. I started making a list of stations based on genre or general vibe and ended up building https://muso.fm. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago

I almost never hear that dreck, thankfully, but lost the LDB Game really early on. (TBH, I no longer try to win—I actually like listening to Department Store Christmas on somafm.com.). Source: 5 months ago
I'll second that! WFMU is the best! Broadcasting since forever across the river from Manhattan. Yoko Ono and Matt Groening are known listeners. "Bad Animals" is my favorite. For funk and hiphop, look at https://www.wefunkradio.com/ for the guest DJ every Friday night. And Soma FM has lots of amazing curated streams. Hands-down, THE best holiday mixes, with several hours of all the versions of aulde lange syne on... - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
