I just checked out BenchApp's landing page and app. Looks solid. I too play beer league. My team uses TeamSnap, which is soooo old and unrefreshed. Not sure if you guys struggle with SEO, but your website does feel catered towards hockey (Gretzky reference, drink manager). You should build different use case landing pages for various sports. For those that don't want to manage backups, sync and versioning, UpNote[1] a has scheduled offline backup and restore in Markdown format. Supports Android stylus/Apple Pencil drawing as bonus. Joplin comes second but is difficult to setup, lacks versioning, trash bin, auto-backup, and slow react native mobile app that doesn't sync in the background. UpNote was my winner. Easiest, most flexible formatting (the only app with keyboard shortcuts for text colors and highlight colors), among many other features.
