And yeah, its always chasing the dragon with cool stuff haha. I used leankit.com for my boards for a long time and worked with their product development teams to get new features in before they went corporate and locked it down and you had to pay for more. If you're an Office 365 shop, the To Do app is a life saver (login to your email in the web, click apps on the left side, and then click To Do). There's also https://kanbantool.com/ which has a free tier. Source: over 1 year ago
Write it all down in a planner (hard copy or digital- I prefer paper because my pen-brain connection is stronger). Need to reply to an email? Schedule it for Thursday at 10am. Call a friend? Put it on the books with a time. Trash goes out on Tuesdays? Make a note with a checklist for Monday nights. Also ask the developer how they want to work, and if there is a software they like to use to facilitate the work. Are they Kanban? Scrum? Waterfall? Watch a video or two on the do's and don't of the one method the Dev wants to use, so you know what to expect if your developer asks you for a "Story" or a "Task" or a "Ticket" or if you need to 'clarify acceptance criteria', which is literally what I was doing at...
