If you're an Office 365 shop, the To Do app is a life saver (login to your email in the web, click apps on the left side, and then click To Do). There's also https://kanbantool.com/ which has a free tier. Source: over 1 year ago
Write it all down in a planner (hard copy or digital- I prefer paper because my pen-brain connection is stronger). Need to reply to an email? Schedule it for Thursday at 10am. Call a friend? Put it on the books with a time. Trash goes out on Tuesdays? Make a note with a checklist for Monday nights. Also ask the developer how they want to work, and if there is a software they like to use to facilitate the work. Are they Kanban? Scrum? Waterfall? Watch a video or two on the do's and don't of the one method the Dev wants to use, so you know what to expect if your developer asks you for a "Story" or a "Task" or a "Ticket" or if you need to 'clarify acceptance criteria', which is literally what I was doing at... Then everytime you open a vimwiki file it should apply your... Source: over 1 year ago
Vim.org has 242k total visitors, tailwindcss.com has 4.4m, planetscale.com has 412k, jpl.nasa.gov has 2.6m, all built with Tailwind, all several years younger than Vim's website. Unnecessary comparison, unnecessary defence. It's a valuable tool, fine, but a complete disregard for anyone who doesn't love a crappy website and would like to navigate a website like a normal human is not something to be defended. Maybe... I write in Vim with some customizations in my vimrc to gear it more towards prose writing than code editing. It's not pretty, but Normal Mode and Ex commands are the most powerful text editing tools out there, so that means I spend less time on making corrections and other edits. Source: about 2 years ago
