My experience is that there is a lot of hype about things. People say so-and-so is really hot field, companies will line up in front of your house. But when you actually on the street looking for a job - nada. Best is to look at the job boards in respective countries, or career sites of the companies. With 6 years of experience , recruiters should be breaking down your door. This whole Github and leetcode/hackerrank stuff is mostly for the FAANG-type companies. Most other workplaces look at ur resume/interviewing skills. I think you should put more buzzwords in your resume, also talk about in your resume and interview in what your actions/accomplishments are, not just what u worked on.
