You need to apply to lots of jobs. Go to all the different job boards: indeed.com, linkedin.com, glassdoor.com. If you are applying for co-op jobs, apply to every job that is listed as an internship or co-op job for which you would be willing to do the job. As regards to the job prospects, there isn't really a concrete answer but they seem pretty good, dependent on the economic climate of course. Just like any degree these days, a masters is needed afterwards to be in any way competitive but the course is quite broad in that it opens a lot of doors and areas you can go into.
