I have been using GoDaddy for my website hosting and domain management for years, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The platform is user-friendly, even for someone without a lot of technical expertise. Setting up my website and managing my domains was straightforward, and their website builder offers plenty of customization options.
What truly sets GoDaddy apart is their excellent customer support. Whenever I have faced issues or had questions, their support team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and eager to assist.
Additionally, the uptime and performance of my website have been exceptional, which is crucial for my business. GoDaddy’s pricing is competitive, and they frequently offer great deals and discounts.
Overall, I highly recommend GoDaddy for anyone looking for reliable web hosting and domain services. They’ve made my online presence hassle-free and efficient!
Top place for domains - highly recommend

I am trying to migrate my emails from an IAMP Server (WickedDigitz - a GoDaddy Company) to my Google Workspace account. 5 out of 7 of my emails have been successfully migrated but 2 of my emails I keep getting a Authentication failure. (18017) error. I then try logging into the account at https://sso.secureserver.net and have no issues logging in with the same username and password I have entered for the... Source: over 1 year ago
So needless to say this security feature on networks is getting old. Now my wife's domain under godaddy.com is blocked. This prevents anyone on chrome and who knows what other browsers to access her market page and place orders. The lawsuit is plain as day with plume attempting to disable revenue on her site. Just asking for advice on routes to solve this issue without involving a lawyer? Source: over 1 year ago
GoDaddy is also another example of a bad domain registrar because it is pricy and gives you so many useless upsells like premium domain privacy protection. Also if you reach out to them then they'll respond, but only write something about their other products. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
The domain name stuff confuses me a bit, if I need a domain do I just go to like godaddy.com and buy a domain I want? Or is there a free option? Source: almost 2 years ago
I have a domain purchased: example.com that points to my public IP, as well as a subdomain that points to plex.example.com, and I go through DuckDNS to maintain a static public IP. I have tried changing my example.com back and forth between http/s inside of godaddy.com and it doesn't seem to be making a difference. Considering that I don't have an SSL cert right now it doesn't make sense to me to use https for... Source: almost 2 years ago
This is truly amazing. Is there a 'How it Works' a 'Potentials' section? I work with things that push to inspire creativity and learning to foster the passion behind creativity and authentic works where otherwise we'd see how 'AI copies our work' and now we can see how AI can bring works to life and make them more fun. Over-all would you like to see schools adopting your project? I didn't see a contact form but... - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
Anyone have experience with/opinions on Apache Cordova? [1] It seems like it would solve most of the PWA issues. Although I vaguely recall reading that Apple is not too fond of apps that are basically just wrapped web views. [1] https://cordova.apache.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Has anyone tried pwa builder?[2] Thank you for any insights! [0]https://cordova.apache.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
A little over a decade ago, I worked on the open-source project Apache Cordova/Adobe PhoneGap, first at IBM and later at Adobe. Apache Cordova enables you to build mobile applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript while targeting multiple platforms with one code base. In today’s technology landscape, mobile is dominated by iOS and Android. In the early 2010’s we were awash in mobile platforms from BlackBerry,... - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
There are layers that offer access to native APIs like capacitor, cordova and nativescript. Apparently sometimes multiple of them should be used, but I didn't understand what are the differences even after reading the announcement. These seem to be frontend agnostic technologies and Capacitor is apparently the more modern choice at the moment. Source: over 2 years ago
