  • Extremely slow loading times because of "Waiting for server response" during the server requests.
I need to check with you all if I'm crazy or not, because I'm using getflywheel.com as hosting/server provider and the staging website of my site (very simple woocommerce) I'm experiencing extremely slow server response times see here (the green portion of the bar is "Waiting for server response"). I've reached to their customer support and they are saying they allocated the same amount of server resources for my... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Am I making a mistake by hosting 20 websites on a single server?
I'm in the process of moving all my Wordpress sites over to getflywheel.com. The pricing is comparable to running my own server (which I also do) but I don't have to worry about uptime, backups, etc. I also like that every site I publish gets attached to their content network (think Akamai or similar) so that site outages are eliminated. • Can I use Divi without paying for a Wordpress Business Plan?
If you want to keep your life simple, you can use a Wordpress boutique host like Flywheel as they make it all easy to operate for someone without a ton of experience, and they have awesome support. Their plans start at $15/month, and their basic plan is plenty for most people. I love their service. I currently host 80+ sites with them. https://getflywheel.com/. Source: about 1 year ago

  • My Favourite WordPress Plugins as a Developer
Does your host not allow basic auth or make it difficult to set up? Try Password Protected. This sets up basic auth for your WordPress site in minutes. You may even add IPs to an allow list so that you are not constantly pestered by the password prompt. This plugin was recommended to me by Pressable, and it's now part of my developer arsenal. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago

  • When Should we get a WordPress Website Support?
There's an in-between option that can work (depending on the size and complexity of your site. Managed WordPress hosts like (WPengine.com, WordPress.com, pressable.com, etc) offer WordPress specific support that can help sort out various WP problems for you. They won't build your site for you like a freelance WP pro will, but they can save you a lot of time chasing down smaller stuff that is super confusing to... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Nameserver change question
Both sets of NS servers maintain their own catalogs, so while ns1.godaddy.com will have the correct A records, MX, TXT, records etc, if the true information is at pressable.com NS you'll need to do a dig -t ALL on pressable.com's NS first, get all the data, and make sure it matches on GoDaddy's before changing the NS for the site. Hope that's not confusing. Source: about 2 years ago
