There's an in-between option that can work (depending on the size and complexity of your site. Managed WordPress hosts like (WPengine.com, WordPress.com, pressable.com, etc) offer WordPress specific support that can help sort out various WP problems for you. Both sets of NS servers maintain their own catalogs, so while ns1.godaddy.com will have the correct A records, MX, TXT, records etc, if the true information is at pressable.com NS you'll need to do a dig -t ALL on pressable.com's NS first, get all the data, and make sure it matches on GoDaddy's before changing the NS for the site.
