They don't need more data, your users don't want to see cookie banners and most of you really don't need 99% of the data that you can filter through... I can't recommend Fathom (https://usefathom.com) enough. They have a huge focus on privacy-first tracking. To me, the real strength of Painter is the use of its baked maps to control effects like dust or ambient occlusion, and obviously the ability to paint details directly on the mesh with a workflow similar to Photoshop's.
