  • Any local scholarship opportunities?
The first place that I'd recommend you check out is fastweb.com. It's a site that aggregates all kinds of random scholarship opportunities. Yes, most of these scholarships will be relatively small, but, realistically, they won't be much smaller than most community scholarships. I will note that this is very much the sort of thing where you get what you put into it: if you spend a lot of time searching and applying... Source: 5 months ago
  • Where do you guys find scholarships?
I was told from somebody who had gotten scholarships that they used FastWeb. I have never used it myself, but they constantly send me emails about new scholarships every few weeks. It might be worth giving it a try. Source: 11 months ago
  • Looking for undergrad CS, SWE, Business Scholarships for male middle-eastern HS senior
I recommend utilizing third-party scholarship search engines such as scholarships.com, fastweb.com, and scholarshipamerica.org. While I'm not familiar with international schools, I suggest focusing on local scholarships rather than international or national ones. In the U.S., local scholarships are often easier to obtain, and there tends to be less competition. Additionally, if you have already chosen a college,... Source: 12 months ago
  • Best Scholarships to Apply To?
Take a look at fastweb.com. They are competitive scholarships, but somebody has to be selected! Source: about 1 year ago
  • Help!
You may also consider searching fastweb.com, but I think these are geared more towards undergrads than grad students. Source: almost 2 years ago

  • Textbooks for Techniques Classes
New Directions for Strings Teacher's Manual Book 2 [Soft Cover ] ($29.75 on abebooks.com because on Amazon it was like $40 something I think). Source: 9 months ago
  • Learning More About Cancellations
Hi - my 2 primary sites to find publications are amazon.com and abebooks.com. I've found used copies of reference books on both sites. Since I collect Australia, I also watch the Australian auction site. I've found some great books in auctions. Of course, the shipping sometimes is more than the book. I also use eBay, but for some reason, the publications I look for are not as commonly found there. Source: 10 months ago
  • Hannover 1840 A Thaler, appears to be KM# 192 by all appearances however the weight is listed as 16.82g - my coin weighs 21.9g.
Found an old hardcover 1980 edition of this on abebooks.com ran me just under $15 total shipped from Germany! I'm mainly interested in better info on the 1800's coins, which I'm guessing was pretty well sorted by 1980, so should still be a good extra resource to have. Source: 10 months ago
  • What are you spending all that extra money on?
A lot of my money's gone to abebooks.com now that I can stay focussed all the way through a book. Source: 10 months ago
