To be clear I'm not on curse's side, but pretty sure that by using FastForward extension and ublock origin you skip the 5sec wait. Works on my machine at least. But yeah, the whole site is pretty much falling apart. Source: 5 months ago

I have been manually skirting around these obfuscated links by just selecting the title text of the article and doing a web search, or using a service like https://checkshorturl.com, but this seems like a perfect opportunity for an email provider to do that work instead by automatically revealing these targets for its users. I assume there must be some way to disable this function, but it would be a bad idea for you to click links without knowing where they're sending you. Especially make sure you check shortened URIs from random people online (e.g. Reddit posts) using services like tinyurl or similar, using a checker, like https://checkshorturl.com/.
