I have been manually skirting around these obfuscated links by just selecting the title text of the article and doing a web search, or using a service like https://checkshorturl.com, but this seems like a perfect opportunity for an email provider to do that work instead by automatically revealing these targets for its users. I assume there must be some way to disable this function, but it would be a bad idea for you to click links without knowing where they're sending you. Especially make sure you check shortened URIs from random people online (e.g. Reddit posts) using services like tinyurl or similar, using a checker, like https://checkshorturl.com/. A tip on how to know if a website is legit is when they have links of their official social media accounts, contact us, terms and conditions on the most bottom parts of their webpage. Also, before clicking on any link, go to unshorten.it to see if said link is safe because hackers are on prowl right now where they could steal of most of your information and always double check on the website.
