I have been manually skirting around these obfuscated links by just selecting the title text of the article and doing a web search, or using a service like https://checkshorturl.com, but this seems like a perfect opportunity for an email provider to do that work instead by automatically revealing these targets for its users. I assume there must be some way to disable this function, but it would be a bad idea for you to click links without knowing where they're sending you. Especially make sure you check shortened URIs from random people online (e.g. Reddit posts) using services like tinyurl or similar, using a checker, like https://checkshorturl.com/. Https://unshorten.me/ and then send/open them. I use urlchecker [0] for this on my phone and have it set as my" browser" that way, every link I click on, I see a popup with the link and with one or two button presses I can remove the tracking parameters and/or unshorten it and then open it.
