I'm assuming they're talking about https://duckduckgo.com/app, which DDG does call the DDG Browser themselves, since that was involved in a 'scandal' re. trackers. Source: 5 months ago
I’d also recommend considering choosing a good internet browser, as you stated “ I just dont feel comfortable if companies and people can see everything ive ever searched up”. A browser that either blocks ads and trackers or at least doesn’t contain its own trackers, is a great start. I would recommend using either Firefox, Brave, or DuckDuckGo. You also should use some sort of additional tracker blocker, such as... Source: 10 months ago
Since DuckDuckGo has grown from a privacy-focused search engine to the all-in-one privacy solution that we offer today, we needed to expand our Privacy Policy to cover our new browsers and features like Email Protection, App Tracking Protection, and more. Have a look at duckduckgo.com, it has a browser for iPhone and Android that is supposed to block all these trackers by design. I've not heard anything bad about it from anyone else yet and information can be found here: https://duckduckgo.com/app. Source: about 1 year ago
Duck Duck Go for android.. Has app tracking protection, and email protection that strips out the trackers when you open an email. The email works where you pick a duck.com email name, and it forwards to your real email, minus the trackers. Source: about 1 year ago
Https://getadblock.com/en/ This one works fine with me on Opera GX. You can go to your browser's web store, like the Chrome Web Store and download one. If you switch to a browser like Brave or Opera GX, you can have a built-in one, which is easier. Source: 10 months ago
Interesting, I usually don't get pop ups on soap2day or that site(only if I miss click on the play button or something similar sometimes). I use an ad blocker though so maybe thats why. I get WAY more when I use my iphone though. Source: 11 months ago
If I were you I would contact official steam support at the Steam Help Page, maybe they'll be able to help you, make sure to use an AD-Block or a VPN to stay safe out here on the internet. Wish you good luck. Source: 11 months ago
This issue just appeared today, I've never seen it before. I'm using NordVPN with kill switch enabled, and I already checked with https://www.iplocation.net/ and http://checkmyip.torrentprivacy.com/ to confirm I'm routing all traffic through the VPN. I tried getting a new IP from Nord, but it still didn't fix it. I'm using this ad block plugin in chrome https://getadblock.com/en/ , so I don't think this is an ad. Source: about 1 year ago
I have an AdBlock extension for my Chrome browser on desktop: https://getadblock.com/en/. Source: over 1 year ago
