Drum Machine This is a basic drum machine to keep tempo if you don't own a metronome, but those can be had for free on your phone. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Show HN: I built a little online drum machine using 808 style samples
I would highly recommend enabling click and drag to "paint" notes. As it is right now, if I want 16 closed hats, I have to move, click, 16 times. I'd rather drag to paint based on whatever state of the note I start on. The mutes on the left would be better if they mute the notes, not the sounds. • How Would You Teach a 5-year old to Make Beats?
Maybe some google sampler, something extremely limited that makes everything sound good. Something like this https://drumbit.app/. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Any good, LEGIT sound libraries for indie/solo devs out there?
I used to use soundsnap.com for a lot of things. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I'm an audio artist and I love Elden Ring, so I wrote new music and redesigned the sound effects on the launch trailer!
This project took me about 3 weeks of free time. I primarily used Studio One 5 pro for my DAW, and the East West Hollywood orchestra for most of the music. Foley recordings for the sound effects came from soundsnap.com. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Beginner Library?
In addition to the previously mentioned soundly, you can also try soundsnap.com. It has a subscription model that is unlimited downloads for a year, if I remember right. But that could be useful as a beginner as well. It doesn't have a fancy UI/library management tool like Soundly, but still worth looking at. Source: over 2 years ago
