  • Free VST or online browser sequencer that allows you to import your own samples?
I was thinking of something like the drumbit.app drum machine site, where it has the 16 columns with each instrument marking beat 1, 2, 3 and 4, and you can adjust BPM and swing and etc. The downside of this site is that you can only use the built in samples. - Source: Reddit / 2 days ago
  • Don't be discouraged to learn piano
Play with drum machine beats or loops instead. There are websites like https://drumbit.app/ where you can set the tempo and customize the beat as much or as little as you like; others use YouTube to find loops to play in time with. - Source: Reddit / 17 days ago
  • Scrubbymixes - glitchy realtime remixes made by scrubbing a video around. [OC]
I've been using weird old TV commercials (since I particularly like abusing those) but there's no reason this couldn't be atempted with any video you wish. All the originals used here were found on YouTube, and links to them appear in the video descriptions. The drums are simple loops I put together on the free web-based drum machine drumbit. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • Compatible drum machine?
Play around with something like https://drumbit.app/. It might help you see drum patterns a little easier. Sequencing drums isn't hard and it doesn't require a ton of indepth knowledge. It's just counting and remembering common patterns. There's rabbit holes you can fall into, but in the beginning, it's just kick on 1 and 3 and snare on 2 and 4. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
  • Attention all knob twiddlers of r/aphextwin, post one of your track in this thread, post your links, I want to hear your shit!
u can make something online pretty easy. Beepbox makes melodies. You can make drum beats with this thing. I love this program for texture and noise called blokdust. And obxd is super fun to play around with. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
